LIVELIHOOD DEVELOPMENT

In cooperation with the government agencies like DTI, Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) and DOST together with LGU of Carmen, it successfully conducted the Water Hyacinth Development Program”, that created a group called “Weavers of Water Hyacinth (WOW) Carmen Handicraft”, which uplifts the lives of people in the community by providing income to housewives and unemployed men. Now, it produces various houseware products such us placemats and coasters, baskets, trays, wall décor and decorative frames, fashion products like bags, slippers and other novelty items.
